A roughly 25-year-old man surprised the 86-year-old Alfred Quiel. Leather goods he could sell, and revealed a sports bag full of jackets.

With their victim in the car the offenders contributed to the Savings Bank on Gottesweg. One went with the old gentleman to the switch. After the death of his wife, Alfred Quiel had moved only two weeks ago in the apartment on the seventh floor of the nursing home. "I let myself now install a security lock," he says and swears to himself: "In my apartment is no longer a stranger."
